Many child stars have a hard time adjusting to life as they get older. Some stay in Hollywood while others leave but all share a common theme. Growing up in Hollywood is rough. These youthful stars left the world far too soon.

When she was 6, Anissa Jones became famous by playing Buffy in Family Affair. It's been suggested that she was relieved and very happy when the show ended so that she could finally go back to being a regular little 13-year-old girl. In 2015 one of her co-stars, Kathy Garver, said: "I really reached out and went to her 18th birthday party and her mother had come up to me and said, 'You know I wish you could spend some time with Anissa because she's in the wrong crowd." And that crowd was taking drugs. Unfortunately I had to go away for a project and didn't get back for two months and in that time she had died of a drug overdose" on Aug. 18, 1976."

Lee Thompson Young dazzled everyone as the star of Disney's "The Famous Jett Jackson." It didn't matter if it was singing, rapping or acting he could it all. He ended up with a role in Friday Night Lights which he followed up with smaller roles on tv and film. Young dealt with bipolar disorder and depression behind the scenes with his demons eventually getting the best of him. Young was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head, on Aug. 19, 2013. He was only 29 at the time.
